Brilliant, Fantastic, Molto Bene, Great big universe, packed into my brain!
In the books, I found him to be a much more understanding guy.
I feel that he really likes people a little bit more than I had seen recently — not...

Thank you to my lovely Japanese friend for this. You rock! :)
- BC came in wearing the Margaret Howell cardigan and offered to change into an Alexander McQueen jacket, but the interviewer begged him not to.
- It seems he was offered munchies and asked for chocolate pretzels and water, not tea. Offered the interviewers some, too.
- When asked if he was surprised by the 500+ fans at Narit Airport, he says: “surprised” doesn’t begin to describe it, it was a special moment. He was totally overwhelmed. There are Japanese fans who come to England, so he thought there might be a few fans waiting for him at the airport. And he was told to expect cameramen so was advised to change but almost stayed in his tracksuit.

quote from the interview with Benedict in today’s Mirror
“I literally got off the plane and went straight to the studio.
“They were due to start shooting the film in five days and I walked into a room full of designers, artistic directors, editors, directors of photography and about five producers. I was terrified.
“I was jet-lagged and must have looked as white as a sheet with dark rings round my eyes but it was an amazing, amazing experience working on the film.
“We did crazy hours but it was wonderful to work with people my own age, all sharing an experience.”I was the Brit abroad but everybody was incredibly supportive and welcoming. I had a really good time and I think it’s going to be a phenomenal film.”
…
Benedict’s home is still in North London and he plays five-a-side football whenever he can. But he would be more than happy to return to Los Angeles. “I’ve had a fantastic time and I’ve made some fantastic new friends,” he says.
“My home’s in London and my family and friends are all there.
“But I’m a nomad at the moment with no dependants, so I’m quite happy to pack a suitcase and travel wherever I’m asked to go.”

Interviewer: Did you take any prop home? Did you keep something?
Tom: I don’t think I did, I mean all my props are kind of like, enormous. But there was one day where I kind of ran amok at lunch break and I stole the shield and the hammer, and we were in these underground tunnels in Cleveland, and I literally had the shield in my hand and I was holding the hammer aloft in my arm. And I sent pictures to Chris and Chris, I was like “Guys, I’m not giving them back.” [x]
